The Famous Biltmore Estate

If you have the opportunity to travel around this great country of ours, can be treated to some spectacular places rich in history. Our roots, but not so deep that foreign countries are places not to visit battlefields, museums and homes of famous Americans who deepen their knowledge of our history. One of the most famous houses in America, and is expected to finalize their travel is owned by Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina. With its large gardens and stunning architecture is certainly breathtaking.

The Biltmore Estate was built by George Vanderbilt and was officially opened in 1895. The Vanderbilt family is one of the most famous families in American history. The Vanderbilts are known for their philanthropic lifestyle, constantly contributing money to the communities around them. When George Vanderbilt asked that the house is built, would (then) most important in American architecture. The Biltmore Estate consists of 4 hectares and comprises a total of 250 rooms.
